The setting and the conversations with all the unique characters in each stage were so much fun, meow!
The game system was also really interesting—I enjoyed thinking ahead like, “Next time I reincarnate, I’ll start with this skill, then do that, and then just let it run...” It was fun to plan everything out in my head before starting! 🐾
This was written while this game is in development so might not be true by the time of playing. This is kind of my opinion of the game right now.
Bug 1: Shaman ability useless(like actually useless, not a bad ability), it doesn't do anything as far as I can tell because at the time of fighting him I remember 4/3 which I think means I equipped 4 upgrades when I maxed 3
Bug 2:Coin Bugged(the ability. I have 1634 coins used to have 2500) like it grows exponentially? While this might have been purposeful, Id say this is a terrible idea if that were true.
Bug 3:The text is now permanently stuck on my screen(oof), I believe it has to do with the holding of text(unsure)
Bug 4: Uncertain, but when you win against enemy screen is laggy if you stay on it long enough? not sure about this one
Suggestions:Add a end life button, so you can do a reset in case you messed up something in the beggining(example:x1.5 strength/ one time use abilities), to make it non abusable, make it so that you earn no coins if that happens
Suggestion 2: Cap the 5 day upgrade, we don't need that many 5 day upgrades and it would also make it more strategic. Maybe you didn't expect me to gain 240 days on the first one but just saying, probably don't want that to happen, so probably cap it.
Suggestion 3:Connect the equipped actions and shop to make it look better, or make the middle blank or at least make the passive and the message saying new thing is purchasable hidden so it doesn't look so wonky
Suggestion 4: make this run off screen while your on another tab. This isn't really neccesary now.
Suggestion 5:make latter upgrades also cost much more since they seem to be around 10 per for the later ones
Good:The Gameplay is similar to progress knight, but it is much better progression wise then it and faster. It has good upgrades though some are much more powerful then others.
Bad:The Bugs and the music/sound(I just listened to my own music)
Thanks for the feedback, I do have some fixes lined up and, though I'm unsure how long I'll have to wait after the jam's ended before I put those in, it'll definitely happen once I'm able.
