Ah! A wild bug appeared!
Fixed perplexing error where half the variables in the game would reset to their default values specifically on the second time loading the game. If this has already happened to you, please head on over to the settings menu and hard reset the game.

Oh, sorry to do this again. I can't seem to get the software to decompress properly.
You're right, and I'm not sure why it's doing that (Google returns "Unknown error", very unhelpful) other than blaming my connection when uploading the game again. That or google's default zipper has failed me. I'll make sure I don't have either of these things happening when I release the next update, which should happen in about 5 minutes.
Edit from 5 minutes later: Have confirmed that this does not happen before I upload the file to itch, so it's an itch io problem I don't really know how to deal with. I'll try uploading to a third party link while I try to figure that one out.

I'll try a hardware reset for now (delete the tres file) and start over from scratch! Looking forward to it!
Also, when I tried to download just the exe file with the individually uploaded files, the download was denied due to possible viruses.
I play a lot of games on itch and have seen this happen with about 10 other games. And for some reason, this phenomenon is more common in games made by godot.
By the way, I found Temporal Wheel at ver 0.02 and downloaded it because I fell in love with the graphics at first sight, but I could not play the game because of the same phenomenon.
I was able to play the game at ver 0.05 or 0.06.
So you were able to play the game in the end? Good to finally get it up and running.
